It is well known that prosperity of a nation including its 'atmanirbharata' strongly depends on the capability and mindset of its human capital. The primary role of an educational institution is to impart right education to its students, the future of the nation. With the objective of helping to establish an institute of global excellence, soon after taking over as the director,, consciously the vision of the institute was made more ambitious to "IIT Bhubaneswar will be globally well recognized for creating outstanding graduates and new knowledge“, despite the challenges it poses in rising academics and research to commensurate standards, and the endeavour was embarked upon through serious actions.
