The Embedded Power Management group, an integral part of the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, is dedicated for research and development of power management architectures for several industrial applications such as data center, smart power supply for mobile and automotive, PV based hybrid charging station etc. The group has several Research Scholars with diverse research interests ranging from digital and nonlinear control, digital modulation techniques, modeling and development of high-power density converters. The Laboratory has numerous industrial collaborations with leading R & D corporations like STMicroelectronics, Qualcomm, NXP, GE Research, etc. Along with carrying out industrial research and consultancy projects, the lab also focuses on training workforce on digital power management.
