Indian Heritage Image Retrieval Dataset (IHIRD)

This data-set contains images from various heritage sites in Karnataka (Hampi, Beluru, Halebidu, Somanathapura, Ikkeri, Shivamogga, Hosagunda, Doddagaddavalli, and Kaidala), West Bengal (Bishnupur and Murshidabad), and Andhra Pradesh (Surabheshwara Kona). These places, where the monuments depict various historical and mythological events, are included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. The images are captured in natural daylight by two high resolution digital SLR cameras of resolution 10M pixels and 18M pixels, whose sizes range from 300 KB to 15 MB.
