This is a preparation zone to hone your presentation skills in scientific dissemination which you would need during dissemination for Project I and Project II during the 2nd year of your M. Tech program.

Measure of Outcome:
A student undertaking this subject would be graded based on perfromance in all of the following:
(1) Regular attendance and participation in class activity.
(2) Timely submission of all assignments.
(3) Making an oral presentation, where audience is also evaluated for class participation.
(4) Making a poster presentation, with audience evaluated for participation.

Code of Conduct:
* Assignments are to be executed individually.
* Active participation as audience with submission of anonymous reviews.

Pedagogical Objectives
The aim is to enable students to muster and learn the art of public speaking in relevance to scientific and technical dissemination. On completion of the course, a student would be able to:
1. Articulate and orchestrate an oral and poster presentation on a technical topic.
2. Demonstrate the ability to convey new scientific ideas to an audience with varied levels of understanding of the topic.
3. Design and develop new techniques for improved delivery of audio-/visual media contents for conveying scientific ideas.
